Lynch Persecuted because of Eternal Universe Theory

Montgomery, Alabama. Terrence A. Lynch, founder and promoter of a new theory that the universe is eternal in nature, that time has no beginning nor end, and the Big Bang a is but a myth, was persecuted in an Alabama State Court. Lynch was arrested during the middle of the night, Nov. 21, 2003, taken from his home and locked in a mental institution for evaluation. Lynch's brother, Carl Gregory Lynch, had read about his younger brother's theory of cosmology upon the Internet and this disturbed the elder brother and his wife, a devout Catholic. A plot was then brewed to destroy Terry Lynch's life by having him arrested and declared insane. However, psychiatrists who evaluated Lynch could not find anything wrong with him.

May 2004 issue of Scientific American magazine reports theory promoted by Terrence A. Lynch and published on line in 2001 that Big Bang is myth.

Lynch published his theory on the Internet in Feburary of 2001 in two articles entitled "The Infinite and eternal nature of the universe as a sinusoidal flux in the space-time continuum" and "Convergence tunnels may offer proof of the nature of the universe as an eternal system". Lynch's theory and proclamation of the Big Bang as a myth is now being acclaimed and promoted by others noted scientists. The May issue of Scientific America featured a cover article entitled "The Myth of the Beginning of Time" by Gabriele Veneziano which details new theories of cosmology which are designed to explain the infinite nature of the universe. Basically Lynch says that time in infinite, that the universe had no beginning nor end, and that the perception of a Big Bang is just an illusion. Other cosmologist are now saying the same, bringing out their charts, graphs and illustrations in Scientific American to explain what Lynch has been promoting: that the Big Bang is a "Big Fraud" upon the consciousness of humanity.

Lynch's theory that the universe is infinite is opposed by devote Christians who have misinterpreted the theory as being a proof that God does not exist. They say if there was no beginning nor end to the universe that means no creation and no God. This is why Lynch's brother and his wife conspired with lawyers to destroy Lynch's life by trying to have him declared insane.

Lynch's niece, Sharon L. Crenson, a national reporter for the Associated Press, also participated in the conspiracy agaisnt Lynch to kiddnap his brother, Lawrence C. Lynch, who has mental retardation. This provoked Lynch to try to stop the kidnapping by slashing the tires of a rental vehicle used to abduct and kidnap Larry, to take him out of the state of Alabama, to Colorado. Although Lynch filed a police report which correctly explained the abduction and kidnapping, the police arrested Lynch, coming to his home in the middle of the night, hand cuffing him, taking him to the emergency room at Baptist Hospital South in Montgomery, then having him forced to participate in a series of physical and mental evaluations against his will.

Lynch's mother, 84, of Montgomery, Alabama, had just been diagnosed to have the early signs of dementia, a disease most common among the elderly. What better time to attack Lynch for his beliefs and theory than when his mother was just found to be mentally incapacitated. However, after a court hearing when Carl Gregory Lynch told the judge that his younger brother was mad and a threat to himself and society, citing Lynch's theory of cosmology, Terrence A. Lynch was set free. Psychiatrists simply could not find anything wrong with the younger Lynch, despite three days of evaluation which involved being detained against his will, his person and his privacy invaded.

In April-May of 2004, Lynch's niece, Sharon L. Crenson, was reported by a private detective to have visited the People's Republic of China. The investigator discovered a bizarr account of her own experiences published through a Hong Kong based firm on a Russian website entitled "United States of America is a Corrupt, Unjust Nation". This involved her having an, "...Epiphany that the United States of America is a corrupt, unjust nation of self centered, selfish, capitalist, with ignorant probate judges who imprison elderly women in nursing homes away from their family and loved ones..." Lynch believes she is either trying to appologize for her actions, confess her wrong doings or simply trying to get some fame and fortune out of whatever associations she can make with him, given she has never made any original discoveries for herself and simply writes about the news others make. Lynch also said that only a year earlier, "Greg and Sharon put a dumpster in his mother's driveway and began to remove and destroy valuable property." This inspired Lynch to create an educational and informative website related to preservation of the environment entitled "Dumpster Damnation."

Terrence A. Lynch, who is widely know for his original studied of fireflies, may now be hailed as a real pioneer and forward thinker in the area of cosmology. Certainly Lynch was one of the first to publish his belief that the Big Bang was just a myth, proposing an alternate theory based upon the infinite nature of the cosmos. Hence Lynch has stimulated others to speak out and develop their own theories of cosmology. The result may be to one day deal a fatal blow to the Big Bang theory, such that just as the majority of humanity once believed the Earth was flat and the center of the universe, perhaps one day the majority of humanity will believe that the universe is infinite, and the Big Bang theory will go the way of the flat earth theory, into the garbage pail.

In the beginning there was the illusion of a Big Bang. What we see as the Big Bang was merely the continuation of a cyclic universe that expands and contracts much like a pulsating string, that when seen from afar is played back to appear as a Big Bang; but upon closer analysis is revealed to be only a continuation of the expansion and contraction of matter in the space time continuum. New findings from the Hubble Space Telescope as relates to the size, age and nature of the universe are making Lynch's theory of an eternal universe seem yet more plausible. Lynch's theory that the universe is in constant flux, that it may be perceived much like a three dimensional balloon or pulsating sting, expanding and contracting while remaining in constant motion, seems to be substantiated by such observations as spiral and colliding galaxies. These would easily be explained by matter contracting and passing through an hour glass like hole prior to expanding, an event which is the illusion and myth of the Big Bang.

Although other, perhaps more prominent physicists and cosmologists are spouting Lynch's theory of an infinite universe in various forms, they may have arrived at their conclusions through a different line of reasoning than that used by Lynch. Lynch simply conceived of his theory to explain the infinity of the universe, drawing simple graphic designs to explain his theory and the pictures he had seen himself taken by the Hubble Space Telescope.

Is Lynch only the first of many to be persecuted for believing that the universe was not created by the Big Bang, that the universe is infinite, without a beginning or end? Perhaps others will find themselves persecuted by religious fanatics, by professional associates, rival colleagues or even family members. So be warned, if you adopt a belief in the infinite nature of the universe the price you pay may be that others think you are insane.
