With the recession, which seems more like a depression to some businesses, it is important to consider what one can do to boost their business. In the past pumping dollars into advertising has been a solution but that hardly works when there is no money coming in or when people are not out shopping. If people are not out shopping, then where are they?
With the increase in oil and gas prices and the explosion of on-line commerce and the Internet, many people have taken to letting their fingers do the shopping via the Internet. More and more businesses are opening up shop on the Internet and using social networking to market their product or service. And guess what -- it works? The reason it works is because it cost less to shop on-line than get in the car and drive to the mall or shopping center to shop.
