Whether you've just spent the last twelve months in Iraq or have just come home from a hard day's work at the office, a little R&R might be in order. This applies equally well for those of you who spend 8 -16 hours a day at home working your tail off! Now what could be better than an action packed game to take out all your frustrations, wind down and let loose of the day's anxieties. For those who agree I recommend IGE. IGE is the world's leading provider of value-added services to the players and publishers of "massively multiplayer" online role-playing games ("MMORPGs"). And if you are a Star Wars fan, try "Star Wars Galaxies."

What, you say you haven't heard about IGE? I might believe that if you've never played a PC game. Should that be the case let me clue you into what IGE is all about. According to the IGE home page their business involves:
"The development of "massively multiplayer" online role-playing games ("MMORPGs") has revolutionized entertainment and socialization opportunities for millions of people and led to the creation of growing global online communities. Multiplayer online games such as EverQuest, Final Fantasy XI and Lineage 2 embody the creation of rich virtual worlds, whose inhabitants band together each night to engage in the most immersive form of online entertainment available today. IGE was founded by avid online game players to service this growing community of multiplayer online gamers.
Each MMORPG is characterized by its own unique virtual economy. IGE's core business is the making of secondary markets for the buying and selling of the virtual currencies and property used by players of multiplayer online games. The secondary markets permit some players to better enjoy their gaming experience by supplementing their in-game assets, while allowing other players with more time to commit to online gaming to earn real-world income by redistributing their in-game wealth.
In addition to making markets for the purchase and sale of virtual currency and property, IGE has developed and operates the Virtual Currency Exchange, an internet-based platform to facilitate players' direct exchange of MMORPG currency from one game into the virtual currency of other multiplayer games. And to provide the widest possible range of exchange services to multiplayer gamers, IGE acquired PlayerAuctions (www.playerauctions.com), the industry-leading auction exchange site for virtual currency and property.
Going beyond secondary market services, IGE has developed and oversees an extensive network of web-based content and community sites catering to online gamers. Our deep relationship with hundreds of thousands of multiplayer online gamers is further strengthened our continuing efforts to develop additional value-added services for the players of online games.
In addition to the many services we provide to the players, IGE has developed the infrastructure to deliver significant value-added services to multiplayer game publishers, including direct distribution, outsourced customer service, and marketing and promotion services.
Whether it's by bringing players together outside the virtual settings of online games or by facilitating secondary markets within the games, we hope to support and test new ideas that stretch the boundaries of MMORPGs. And by seeking to better understand how virtual economies work, we hope to assist game publishers and players in maintaining healthy and growing virtual economies.
IGE maintains its administrative offices in New York City and Miami, Florida. The Company's market making and currency exchange services are operated by Internet Gaming Entertainment, Ltd., the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary in Hong Kong. The Company's auction exchange services and content network sites are administered by wholly-owned subsidiaries in the United States."
Now that you know what IGE is, give MORPGing a try!

The proprietors of $$$ THE VIDEO ARCADE $$$ believe that war and violence are wrong. However, we live in a real world where war and violence are realities. In cyber space, war and violence are virtual experiences which do no hurt or harm anyone. If people are going to have war and violence it is better to have this in cyber space through the playing of games, than to have it in reality, through the killing of people.
Video games do not hurt anyone, they are fantasy. What hurts people is real wars and real violence. The proprietors therefore advocate peace, love and non-violence. That is why you will find these concepts promoted by affiliate vendors. Perhaps if this were done in the real world than our children would learn the difference between fantasy and reality and people would stop killing each other through war and other forms of violent behavior.
Yes, it is true that children are impressionable and that parents should therefore supervise their children, being sure that they allocate their time properly, to not get addicted to video games and learn the difference between reality and fantasy and how to treat people with love, care and kindness, not with hated, violence and abuse. Parents, too, often neglect their children in these regards and that is why you end up with young people doing terrible acts. It is not because of video games, but because parents have failed to properly supervise and educate their children.
Please enjoy playing video games and browse to your heart's content. But remember, when you leave cyber space to leave your violence behind. Videos are just a game and hurt no one. But violence, abuse and war in the real world destroy lives and kill people!

The only way to really win the war on terrorism is to teach children around the world to make love not war! Toward this end a new design is being released aimed at teaching this concept to boys and girls around the world. Currently this design is released in English. If anyone would like to help translate this design into other languages please send translations to Make Love Not War.
The new Make Love Not War design features two flowers, one blue and one pink/violet to represent boys and girls, respectively. The design is in good taste and is appropriate for children everywhere. Organizations around the world, including churches and schools, are urged to purchase this design on t-shirts and other items for boys and girls and to promote activities directed at teaching the principle of making love not war.
