Stop Smoking! Smoking Kills

Millions of people around the world become ill and die each year as an end result of having used tobacco products! When will the madness end? Smoking and using tobacco products causes and/or contributes to lung cancer, heart disease, dementia, bronchitis and other illnesses. It is time to stop the pollution of the human body by tobacco products, the madness and the killing that are the direct result of tobacco producers, manufacturers and distributors!

Mom I Love You! Stop Smoking!

A Child's Cry

Mom, I love you! Would you please stop smoking so that you will not get cancer and die!

Dad, I love you too! Would you please stop smoking so that you will not get cancer and die!

Do you love me, your baby, your child? Then would you please stop smoking so I can breath clean air and live a long, healthy and full life? After all I am your child! I have to breath the smoke you are making with cigarettes!

Wouldn't it be nice if just asking our parents would get them to stop smoking? But how many children know how to ask their parents to stop smoking? Perhaps there is a way. This is why I created a special series of stick figure designs to enable children everywhere to have an easy way to ask their parents to stop smoking and to remind them that cancer kills!

Letter from the Founder (He's not a child anymore!)

Dear Friends,

My own father, Leonard P. Lynch, died of congestive heart failure after many years of smoking! He was addicted to cigarettes and so was my mother! Smoking effects not only those who smoke but everyone who is exposed to second hand smoke. No doubt the years I was exposed to second hand smoke will probably take a few years off my life.

My family got no insurance money from the big tobacco companies after my father died. My own mother, La Faye S. Lynch, is now in a nursing hope with a host of illnesses that can probably be attributed in great extent to her long history of smoking. She has dementia and has been made a ward of the state of Alabama. I doubt very seriously that a single penny will ever be collected from the big tobacco companies which produced those products that polluted her system for so many years and contributed to the degradation of her body and mind.

My dear mother's case is really tragic. Sometimes it takes many years for smoking to kill you. In my mother's case she started smoking as a teenager back in the 1930's. By the time she was 46 years old here teeth had rotted out from the use of tobacco! She had to have all her teeth drilled away down to the gums and complete bridge work done. This gave her a new mouth but she did not stop smoking, being addicted to cigarettes and smoking many packs a day. Cigarette were easy to afford given my father had been in the military and they could be bought at the commissary without having to pay taxes. So there were always cartons of cigarettes filling the cabinets to satisfy their addiction.

When my mother got older her bridge work deteriorated and her teeth came out. She would not go to the dentist to have them fixed and over time she ate less and less and poor nutrition resulted in her wasting away. She became malnourished, a fact she hid by wearing multiple layers of clothing, and one day lost consciousness. I was with her at the time and kept her from falling over, got her to her bed and was certain she was going to die. I called 911 and prayed to God that she would not die. It was certainly a miracle that she regained consciousness before the paramedics arrived. But something was very different about her as she did not have all her wits. She was rushed to the hospital where she spent three weeks in recovery.

I authorized my mother to be tube fed and receive transfusions that saved her life; she certainly would have died that night when she had what I thought was a stroke, had I not been with her. I later learned she now has an aneurysm in her brain, that I feel is also somehow probably connected with her having smoked for so many years. But a Montgomery County Probate Court judge, Reese McKinney, Jr., in his idiotic rush to judgement and utter incompetence, assigned non-relative lawyers to be her guardian/conservator, against her recommendation and expressed desire, taking power and control away from me to sue the tobacco companies or anyone else in her name. I regard this as a great miscarriage of justice! Other family members who have also smoked and/or used alcohol to excess, wanted this to happen so they could profit from my mother's dire situation.

Thus my dear mother has had her life slowly ruined by the effects of smoking. It is horrible to be a child and see your parents slowly kill themselves through an addiction to tobacco. Yet this is happening to millions of children every day around the world. Many will witness their parents slowly die as a result of smoking. Many more will become parents themselves and start smoking. The cycle will continue to continue because it is making billions upon billions of dollars for the big tobacco companies. What is even more tragic in my mother's situation is that ignorant people who knew nothing of her history of tobacco usage blamed me for her ill health! The great irony here is that I am the only one who has acted intelligently and responsibly and knows that what killed my father and wasted my mother's life way was years and years of smoking tobacco!

Almost everyone has known someone who has been hurt or harmed by smoking which causes cancer and contributes to heart disease. Congestive heart failure was the cause of my own father's death. He died in my arms after suffering massive heart failure. I tried to breath my own breath into his lungs and give him CPR, but he was gone by the time the paramedics arrived. In my mother's case smoking rotted her teeth out and was ultimately the cause of so much heart ache, pain and suffering when she grew older. It no doubt will be a factor in her death.

I'm working to try to stop smoking and tobacco usage. If you would like to help please buy my products and/or make a donation. All proceeds will be used to promote the health, education and welfare of people and to discourage usage of tobacco products.

Dad I Love You! Stop Smoking!

I have also created a Lemonade for Life campaign that has additional information on how everyone can help raise funds and awareness to help fight cancer, heart disease and other illness. Also at the Project K9 site there is information that may be helpful if you have a dog that has lymphoma.

It can often be depressing and frustrating when you know a loved one who has cancer, be it a person or a most love canine companion. Often all we can do is share our heart, our love and prayers. Having seen my share of heart break I've also created a Gift of Love site. This site has Christmas greetings, carols and other tokens of peace, love and affection that you may share. You will also find a copy of the "Canine Blessing." I may post other blessings or gifts of love here in the future. Please feel free to share this link with your family, friends and loved ones.

Thank you again for your generous help, support and gift of love! My prayers are with you!

Peace and love,
Terry Lynch

Seek Rich Financier for Legal Claim

I am seeking rich financiers, investors or venture capitalists to fund a legal claim against the tobacco industry that may be worth millions of dollars given they are responsible for the death of my father and ill health of my dear mother, given smoking causes cancer, heart disease and a host of other health issues, including death. This may also involve a medical malpractice claim or other legal action against a nursing home, hospital and/or others.

No money will be paid to me by you; this will all be done legally via lawyers and/or agreements to fund the project as an investment. You will be reimbursed for your help and support by returning all money plus a profit only if the claim results in a big reward or settlement as I anticipate it will. Plus you may be able to benefit from the publicity this action may generate by employing a PR firm to promote the action nationally and/or internationally!

I will not make one penny off this unless the claim succeeds. I want to do this to fight corruption and abuse as relates to health issues concerning smoking, the effects of second hand smoke and the corruption associated with the elder care system.

I need rich financiers and investors who can be my benefactors to fund this legal action, who may also have connections with powerful lawyers and/or a powerful "Boston Legal" type law firm that we have the power on our side to win a major legal action against the tobacco companies. This involves the death of my father, ill health of my mother and how second hand smoke has effected me.

Please help if you are in a position to do so. This is for those who have so much money that whatever it cost this will be nothing to them. Yes, this is a risky proposition as there is no guarantee we may win in court, but it is a battle that could bring much good publicity to whomever is willing to help fund this legal claim. In fact, the benefit and good PR from the promotions alone may enable investors to indirectly profit via support of this project.

Please contact me, Terry Lynch, at terrylynch@aol.com if you are in a position to help. If you prefer to make an anonymous donation your support will be greatly appreciate. Thank you for your help.

Stop Smoking! Cancer Kills!

Vincent van Gogh died of suicide, but perhaps what really killed him was many years of smoking! Yes, smoking kills, it robs the brain of oxygen and the accumulative effects of many years of tobacco addiction and abuse is very likely a factor in causing dementia. This is probably why van Gogh lost his senses, cut off his ear and killed himself with a shot from a revolver to the chest! He died two days later in the arms of his dear brother and benefactor, Theo. But what really killed him was the slow suicide of tobacco addiction and abuse!

It is very likely van Gogh was aware of the fact that smoking was contributing to his ill health as the most profound and shocking painting he produced, one that has not been widely advertised, is that of a skeleton smoking a cigarette! This painting is quite unlike the majority of van Gogh's work in which is featured common peasants working in the fields or vivid landscapes. Why would van Gogh depart from his common scenes to make studies of the human skeleton and then paint this ominous picture of a skeleton smoking a cigarette, only to kill himself within about a year?

Smoking Causes Dementia!

Certainly van Gogh had mental problems. After he cut off his ear he spent time in an asylum. Some of his last paintings were of the noted Dr. Gachet, created in June, 1890. These fetched $82.5 million at auction. Van Gogh died on July 27, 1890, from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest. He was only 37 years old! Certainly his life had been cut short by a long history of tobacco addiction and abuse. Van Gogh also left behind many painting in which his pipe and tobacco are shown, symbols of his use and abuse of this addictive substance. Yet in the 116 or so years since van Gogh died, little has been said to focus upon how tobacco abuse contributed to his ill health and suicide, though certainly it has been noted that he was a habitual smoker and drinker and continued smoking until his death, tobacco and a pipe being at his death bed. "He was never without his pipe and smoked it even on his death bed, and he admitted on several occasions that he smoked too much." (See letters 507, 579, 585, 595 as per Vincent van Gogh's medical condition From Wikipedia) After all, no one wanted to offend the rich tobacco barons! It is much easier and safer to attribute van Gogh's mental illness to everything from lead poisoning in paints to absinthe intoxication. Of course given the mix of factors, it is probable that smoking, alcohol abuse, lead poisoning and even STD all were contributing factors to van Gogh's mental illness. In fact, perhaps tobacco abuse is the major contributing factor to the actual cause of many of the symptoms van Gogh expressed, that whatever the diagnosis may be, bipolar disorder, epilepsy, acute intermittent porphyria, or whatever other label the psychiatrists want to use, the CAUSE includes nicotine poisoning -- that addictive disease that everyone passes off as a behavioral disorder, blaming the person rather that the producers of tobacco products.

Yet van Gogh left his own statement and claim in the form of a behavioral smoking a cigarette! This was NOT just a painting he did to make money or study the human skeletal form. It was not done in jest. Van Gogh painted this picture to let the world know that smoking was what killed him!

Smoking Causes Lung Cancer!

I have therefore used van Gogh's ominous painting to produce a series of anti-smoking designs. I hope everyone will join with me and help fight against the abuse of tobacco by buying these products. We may not all be able to afford an $82.5 million original van Gogh, but we can honor his work and promote awareness that smoking kills by purchase of these quality anti-smoking van Gogh products.

Thank you for helping to bring attention to what really killed van Gogh! He was one of the world's greatest, moat innovative artists. It is time that everyone realize what really killed van Gogh; it was the heavy, additive, bad habit of smoking that drove him so crazy that he ended his own suffering by shooting himself! He left a suicide note in the form of a painting of a skull smoking a cigarette along with the noted Black Crows painting.

Smoking Causes Heart Disease!

Art historians, not wanting to involve themselves in a dispute with tobacco barons, have simply looked the other way and failed to focus upon this aspect of van Gogh's life. It is too disturbing, perhaps, to think about death. Yet van Gogh did not take his life in a moment of despair. He obviously had been thinking about killing himself for some length of time, having cut off his ear first. He was depressed and in pain and obviously greatly agitated, a symptom of tobacco addiction. Art helped calm his nerves and was certainly a form of therapy for van Gogh. In fact, the Smoking agitated was painted in 1885-86, some four years before his death. So certainly van Gogh was aware that smoking was causing ill health and killing him. Yet his usage of tobacco continued and waisted his mind away, creating such agitation and despair that it eventually killed him!

It is fitting that van Gogh's Smoking Skull painting be used in an anti-smoking campaign and promotion to encourage people, especially children, not to smoke. We still do not know all the ways tobacco usage and abuse may effect the human brain. I believe smoking is a primary cause of dementia, especially in people who have a long history of tobacco abuse. The tobacco companies should not be let off the hook by merely printing a warning label upon their product. Tobacco kills! Just because it take years to kill does not make it any less a form of suicide than putting a gun to one's head!

Nicotine Poisoning Causes Suicide!

It is very likely that many years of tobacco usage has contributed to the mental illness of many other people, perhaps even Hemingway. My own father wondered why Ernest Hemingway killed himself. Yet a heavy smoker himself, my father could not kick his habit. He was chain smoking Salem's up until the day he died! He read all Hemingway's novels and wrote a paper about his life. Yet my own father could not stop smoking nor see the the role smoking played in causing Hemingway's mental illness. So to my father's memory I dedicate the designs I created using van Gogh's Smoking Skull!

The child can see what the parent cannot because his own mind has not been clouded by years of tobacco abuse! Though certainly I was expose to years and years of second hand smoke, pollutants that were not good for my body. Also this usage of tobacco may have been a contributing factor to the development of mental retardation in my brother, Larry, given both my mother and father were heavy smokers at the time of his conception and birth. What role nicotine poisoning played upon causing genetic mutation of sperm and egg cells is anyone's guess. I suspect it had a detrimental effect plus may have effected the developing embryo such as to cause his retardation, a congenital condition.

I hope these van Gogh remastered digital designs will help encourage others to stop smoking or never start smoking in the first place. This is a message parents should impress upon their children. Smoking kills! Smoking is a slow form of suicide! Smoking causes dementia! Smoking also causes a host of other health problems. So parents, please encourage your children NOT TO SMOKE!

I urge everyone who wants to help get this message out to buy van Gogh Smoking Skull designs and help support this project. Thank you!

Stop Smoking Now!

It is the position of this author that all manufacture of tobacco products for human consumption should be stopped immediately. Alternative uses for tobacco products should be found, as in using them to kill insects, not people.

Usage of tobacco products by humans hurts and harms hundreds of millions of people around the world. It is insane for humans to continue to use tobacco products. It is a cop out for tobacco products to get off the hook simply by posting warning on their products. All production of tobacco products for human consumption should be outlawed! People around the world should file claims and sue the tobacco companies out of existence.

If tobacco companies really want to help, they would advertise and promote such educational and informative sites as this one. But no, the tobacco companies make hundreds of billions of dollars marketing their products all over the world, which creates a health care problem that is astronomical in scope. Tobacco companies are a hundred billion dollar business driven by greed. To try to wash their hands of all responsibility by putting warning labels upon products is just a smoke screen that permits hurt, harm and injury to continue without solving the problem.

I call upon all concerned citizens to boycott tobacco companies, products and distributors. Let's put the big tobacco companies out of business unless they help solve the human health nightmare they have caused, by stopping the production of tobacco products for human consumption and developing alternative uses for tobacco, such as to kill insects which carry disease or injure crops (Note: nicotine sulfate has been used for years to kill such insects as aphids upon plants. This certainly would be a market that the tobacco companies could invest more time and effort to promote as an alternative to using tobacco for human consumption.)

It may also be possible to use tobacco to produce many other products that help instead of harm people. It would seem this would be a no-brainer. But because greed and making billions of dollars is the driving force behind the tobacco companies, logic does not prevail. Thus those who are concerned about human health are urged to join the call for a total prohibition on the production of tobacco products for human consumption.

Please, join the call to stop smoking now!. Thank you!
