Letter to the Editor - For Immediate Release
SUBJECT: Stop Hyde's Illegal Purulent Impeachment Scam! When the republican majority voted on Dec. 19th to impeach President William Jefferson Clinton on perjury and obstruction of justice as bombs fell upon Iraq they forever lost all credibility as patriotic Americans. Never before in the history of our great nation have a gang of over zealous partisan politicians attempted to over throw a national election by impeaching a popular, elected president. The partisan vote to impeach President Clinton without a single fact witness is an outrage to the democratic process! Those who cast this vote should forever be black listed by the public and scorned in all future elections. They have shown beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are unpatriotic and do not understand how a representative government is meant to work! These republicans who think themselves so high and mighty, so pure and perfect, so godly and moral have revealed their true colors. They have dropped the flag into the mud and forever tarnished our democracy. These Dr. Jekyll (Kenneth Starr) and Mr. Hyde (Henry Hyde) monsters of democracy and all who have swallowed their poisonous rhetoric have attempted to murder our great nation and the process of representative government. We who see and understand the truth of this political coup d'etat must unite and stand together against the dark and sinister forces represented by those whom would destroy our democracy. We must not forget who these people are, but mark their names clearly and cast our vote against them in all future elections. There is simply no place in a republic for unjustified, hateful, personal attack with respect to the personal and private life of the President of the United States. There is especially no place for hypocrites who would claim to be god fearing patriots and would vote to impeach our president upon frivolous charges amid an action of war while our soldiers risk their lives to preserve our freedom. When representatives of a constitutional government fail to listen to the majority of their representatives and take it upon themselves to defy the will of the people, the people have the just and moral obligation to remove said representatives from government. I call for the resignation of all whom voted for President Clinton's impeachment; that any whom fail to heed this call be forever black listed by the populace and never again receive a popular vote or support to hold public office!
