Letter to the Editor

SUBJECT: Open Letter to Presidnet Urges Wedding Dear Mr. President, I was very disappointed to learn that you were unfaithful to your lovely wife. This has caused me some embarrassment in the local press since I have openly supported your administration on many progressive issues. Now my reputation has been damaged by those who wish to defame and cause me injury. I believe the best, if not only, way you can make amends is if you renew your wedding vows. If you and Hillary would have a second wedding, inviting congress, religious leaders and the general public via the media, to bear witness to your wedding it would help heal the nation and enable the country to recover from the silly little sex scandal which has preoccupied the land. Having a second wedding ceremony and a celebration to renew your vows would also set a very good precedent. Many members of the U.S. Congress and fellow Americans who have not been faithful or truthful to their spouse would benefit from the good example set by our President and First Lady publicly renewing their vows. I am sure such a ceremony would do much to quail and perhaps even silence talk of impeachment. It would also renew the confidence of your staff and the general public in your ability to lead our nation and serve as a positive role model for our children. If you do decide to renew your wedding vows, please let me know. Although I don't expect you to honor me with an invitation to the wedding, I would like to write a inspirational poem about our country which could be read at the wedding. Sincerely, Terry Lynch Montgomery, AL Copyright Notice
