Every reporter inside the Beltway would like to get the scoop on Monica Lewinsky, to find out before Kenneth Starr does, what really happened between her and President Clinton. I can see the headlines now, "Monica Recounts Sex With President!" And the report in Rolling Stone by an anonymous author would read something like this: Recently I had the opportunity to speak with Monica Lewinsky. I inquired in some detail regarding her relationship with President Clinton. Of course she did not know who I really was and I wish to keep my identity secret for obvious reasons, primary of which is to avoid being subpoenaed by Ken Starr. My interview occurred when I telephoned Monica saying I was an intern (yes, an intern!) working with her lawyer in cooperation with the President's defense team at the White House. Amazingly Monica took the bait and went over what really happened with me to clarify a number of details. First Monica said that she and President Clinton never had intercourse. They only had oral sex. Second Monica said she had phone sex a couple of times with the President. She said this involved sharing visual fantasies. She and the President would imagine going to exotic places together and having sex. Monica said they once imagined going to Tahiti. They bathed naked in a tropical lagoon and then lay down upon the beach and made love in the serf. From Monica's description I can see how any man, even the President, would have been aroused. Monica concluded by saying that the President told her immediately after the event that if she ever told anyone about their romance he would deny the whole thing. Now I don't know if what Monica said was true or false. In fact I can't be absolutely sure I was talking to Monica. And I certainly did not record the conversation. In fact should this story ever get out and my name be revealed, I will do what the President did, deny the whole thing, proclaim that the story is a complete fabrication, something I made up while daydreaming. Should Kenneth Starr or any Grand Jury ever make an inquiry, I will simply tell them to all "fuck off!" Now since you see how easy it is to fabricate and make up a story, how can you ever believe anything that Monica Lewinsky or President Clinton ever say about what happened between them? We all may have our fantasies about what the President and Monica experienced together, but the fact is, it is no one's God damn business! Anyone who does dwell upon such matters needs to get a life -- or a wife -- so that they will have someway more pleasurable to spend their nights and days besides wondering about the President having sex with an intern. Unless Monica were to get pregnant and have the President's baby, there is no story, just gossip! That gossip is particularly bad when it results in special prosecutors and journalist trying to make a name for themselves with dirty little sex scandals and fabricated stories that no one cares about! Of course I could be wrong, maybe scandal, true or false, is ALL the public wants! Sincerely, Terry Lynch Montgomery, AL P.S. If your newspaper does not print profanity, you may use random letters (*#$%!), dash marks (f__k off!) or abbreviations (GD=God damn) to replace any words which you deem too profane, not in good taste, offensive or which may so shock your readers as to be hazardous to their health and sense of decency or moral. Addendum: The day after this letter was released to various media, it was announced that Monica Lewinski would receive transactional immunity to testify before Kenneth Starr's Grand Jury. You know the rest of the story. Then Monica testified revealing the nature of her 18 month relationship with President Clinton. This was followed by the Clinton's video testimony to the Grand Jury. However Clinton refused to reveal any specifics about the nature of the relationship. However Clinton did go on national television and admit to having an "inappropriate relationship" with Monica Lewinski. It is this author's position that anyone who has a good enough imagination can guess what took place between President Clinton and Monica Lewinski. The private sex life of the President should remain confidential and not be a matter for special prosecutor investigation or consideration with respect to impeachment even if the President did not come forward and reveal facts about his private life. The sex life of the President and other representatives is not a matter of state. It is for the gossip columns and tabloids, not Congressional debate. It is also this author's position that no person, including the President should be forced to testify about their private lives and/or sexual activity with a consenting adult. It is wrong for a special prosecutor or other investigators to entrap someone into having to tell white lies about their behavior in effort to try to protect their spouse, children, position or country. That is exactly what Ken Starr did and it is a greater evil then any lie people may allege that Clinton told. Right to privacy laws should make it illegal to invade the private sex lives of adults who have consentual sex.
