REF: Evolution vs. Creation: Do Religions Evolve?

Attention creationists! There is no scientific evidence that
God, creator of the universe exists! Nor is there any scientific
evidence that man was made by God. These beliefs are founded in
faith alone. So why must anyone offer scientific proof that God
used evolution in the creation of man or the universe?

If people can believe in God and base their belief upon "the word
of God," quoting the Holy Bible to support their every
intellectual argument, then why can not people believe in
evolution and accept it as the way in which God works? Surely
love is part of God's plan. Why can not improvement of species
through change be part of the natural order of the universe, how
God works his worders of love?

I see no conflict between a belief in God and a belief in
evolution. God is too big of a concept for many people to grasp.
Is not the same true of evolution? In fact the idea of God is
not immutable, but is constantly evolving, constantly changing.
That is why there are so many religions, so many ways to see God.
That is why over time religion and how man worships God changes.
God, in both idea and spirit, is evolving just like man and all
the other species. In fact belief in God is proof of evolution!

Anyone who bothers to study the lowly fruit fly will marvel at
how complex an organism is this marvelous creature. Fruit fly
research by geneticists is revealing how genetic code is
responsible not only for structure but behavior of animals.
Altering gene linked mating behavior can result in steril fruit
flies. One day it may be revealed that the idea of God is simply
a genetic code, a pattern of protein or DNA, which exists in the
mind of man. It may even be discovered that the DNA sequence
which represents the idea of God occurs in all things. Now that
would surely be proof of God's existence, though both
evolutionist and creationists will go to their graves denying it!

Sincerely,
Terry Lynch
