Churches have been telling lies for thousands of years. As a result many churches and religious denominations are based upon falsehood. The immaculate conception and virgin birth of Jesus Christ is fundamental falsehood upon which all Christian religions are based. Teaching this false belief and the idea that Jesus Christ is therefore the son of God and died for man's sins over time results in a humanity that has lost touch with reality. Jesus was no more the son of God than any other man or woman. Jesus was a teacher of love and his teachings have been perverted by organized religion in order to gain power, control people's lives and minds and make a profit. This is a great insult and crime of extortion against humanity. The teachings of Jesus Christ are not enhanced by making a man into the son of God. This is because all men and women are of God given the devotion of their lives to love. religion is not fixed but evolves just as does life evolve. The sooner old time religions evolve to recognize the lie of immaculate conception and virgin birth and teach the truth that Jesus Christ was a great man who taught that God was love and that people who devoted their lives to love and goodness were doing God's work, then the more Godly humanity will truly become. True, these ideas do not reflect the teachings of mainstream religion. To many they may represent Biblical revolution. These ideas are counter to fundamental Christian church doctrine. Yet that does not make truth a lie. On the contrary, the revelation of truth is what enables religion to evolve. Least Christianity evolve to teach that God is love and Christ was just a man, then it shall die along with the lie of immaculate conception and virgin birth. To gain salvation humanity must love all people, especially those, like Christ, who do not fit into the mould of traditional religion. Sincerely, Terry Lynch Montgomery, AL
