By The Sea

By Tal Lynch

We made love by the sea
Our blanket the rolling sand dunes
As the gulls cawed, cawed, cawed,
Reveling in our passion
So hot that the surf seemed to boil.
My mind exploding in the sunset
Of the ecstasy rushing into me,
Seeping away all awareness,
Leaving only her deepest touch,
My whole mind filled with light,
Floating, drifting, swimming with the melody
Of nature's orgasm,
Drowning in her kisses,
Praying to God,
"Oh never stop!
I love you! Oh God yes! Yes!
I Love you! God I love you!"
Crying out in her embrace
Giving all of me,
Spilling my essence into her heart,
Knowing that in that very moment
Another life was being conceived!
Watching now as she sits meditating
Upon the surf as our child begins
It's own journey by the sea.

This poem was inspired by events in my life and is being shared with everyone to draw attention to how vital love and romance are, that we can all love and create life.

Life can be taken away as easy as it can be created. Often people play and frolic in the hot summer sun, not caring how much exposure their skin gets to the sun. Not only can sunburn result, but injury of the skin by solar radiation can result in skin cancer and can be a fatal condition. To draw attention to the danger of over exposure to the sun I have created a series of gifts and apparel entitled, "Don't forget your shirt." These may be viewed and purchased in the Cancer Awareness Gallery along with many other great cause gifts and apparel.
