Welcome to No Means No, a proactive approach to combating hatred, abuse and bad behavior on the Internet. This site is designed to empower everyone to fight back and stand up united against haters, abusers and those who exhibit bad behavior upon the Internet. Such poor conduct is observed upon virtually every major and popular Internet service. Part of the problem is that people operate anonymously and there is no consequence for their ill behavior. Another part of the problem is that people use such behavior to get attention or to gain power and control over others, to manipulate others and to hurt and harm others for whatever sick satisfaction it gives them. It is often suggested that haters, abusers and on-line bullies should just be ignored. But ignoring such conduct just lets it grow, gain strength and keep hurting everyone. Although you may ignore such behavior and avoid immediate hurt, this is like allowing a rapist to get away and go on raping other people. To stop a rapist or anyone else who exhibits abusive behavior you have to fight back and do this in such a way that you profit and the bully or abuser does not profit.
One way you can fight back is to stand up and express yourself. In order to help everyone do this a series of powerful "Just Say No!" type designs have been created. These have been made available upon gifts and apparel. You can use these in many different ways to fight back against haters, abusers and bullies. For example, just by wearing one of these T-shirts when you make and post videos on-line you let people know you are proactive and taking a stand against those who use hatred, abuse or bullying to intimidate others, insult others or cause other forms of hurt and harm.
A whole range of "Just Say No!" type designs have been created. Some of them are serious. Some are a bit funny. Others just give you an easy way to "Just Say No!" to bullies, abusers, haters or a variety of other negative personality type you may encounter upon the Internet. The idea is to find a design and slogan you like and then to use that to empower yourself. When someone then sees you wearing a design that says, for example, "Posted No Haters Allowed," they will see that you are speaking out against haters. This isn't going to stop from being a hater; but it lest them know you support this campaign against haters such that their hatred is promoting this campaign against hatred!
This type of campaign is designed to turn the tables around against those who hate, abuse, beat, batter, bully or otherwise exploit people. In other words, your support tells the the haters who want power and control that you are supporting the campaign against them, which is exactly what they do not want. People who hate, who beat, batter, abuse and bully, want power and control; they want to go about doing what they do without being noticed or stopped. By supporting this campaign against them you are helping to raise awareness and unite everyone to speak with one voice and cast out the haters. Plus, you are speaking out with your wallet, such that when the haters see you wearing one of our designs they will realize their bad conduct has acted to support the campaign against them and empower you!
Everyone who is sick and tired with haters operating freely and unopposed upon the Internet is urged to support this campaign. Please browse our selections and find a design you like. Buy a T-shirt or other gift and apparel item and wear it while making a video. Perhaps you will even make an anti-hate video and prominently display one of our designs and/or link to this site. That would be much appreciated and help to spread the word.
Sometimes saying "No!" is the most powerful action you can take to express yourself! Now you have that power to say "No" and take back the Internet with these great "No Symbols."
Use these No Symbols to make yourself a posted zone. For example, if you do not permit hatred on your site, channel or Internet site, wear a "No Hatred" T-shirt when making videos. This gives notice to everyone that you prohibit hatred. Once people are given said notice you may freely block them, delete them, report them or take whatever other action you deem appropriate.
By posting notice that certain behavior which your regard as inappropriate or offensive is not permitted, you take power and control of your site, of your territory and you let everyone know this. When people see you have given notice this tells them to behave themselves and play by your rules or they will suffer the consequences.
Of course just posting notice that a given behavior will not be tolerated does not stop that behavior. But posting notice that certain behavior will not be tolerated and then following up with punishment does get the message across and over time acts to modify behavior, especially when everyone uses this method. This is not to say it will correct the problem of intolerant, juvenile or delinquent behavior over night, but using this method does work over time for most situations. One reason it work is because it also gives you a tool and teaches you to fight back, to say you will not tolerate certain behavior, and then empowers you to stand up for yourself by punishing those who do not follow your rules.
This is basic behavior modification technique which uses a set of symbolic "No Symbols" to signal or alert abusers that YOU are in control and that YOU do not tolerate certain behavior. Over time when abusers are punished by being blocked, banned, reported, etc., they are conditioned to modify their behavior. Although this type of behavior modification will not work for everyone, it does work for a lot of people, especially when used by more and more people.
Therefore I urge everyone to buy these gifts and apparel and use them to alert people that you will not tolerate certain types of behavior. Empower yourself with these tools and over time you will enjoy a much better experience upon the Internet.

The following letter was sent to various newspapers and editors to express my outrage and disappointment with regard to the exploitation of Miley Cyrus and the sexually provocative photographs taken of her by Annie Liebovitz and published by Vanity Fair.
Dear Editor:
I am shocked and appalled at how Miley Cyrus has been exploited and abused! When I saw the Annia Liebovitz’s sexually provocative photographs taken in a California field photo shoot for Vanity Fair, I could not believe my eyes. Here was a young girl, 15 years old, being draped in a satin sheet and exposed to the whole world! Apparently this was done with her father’s consent. Billy Ray Cyrus was with her during the photo shoot and even more provocative photographs were taken of Miley with her father in amorous poses; plus his youngest daughter, 8 year old Noah, was on the set! It just blew my mind to see a parent pimping his daughter this way!
Now I’m not a prude; I am, in fact an artist, photographer and naturalist. I appreciate a good photograph as next as the next person. But this is boarder line child pornography because it is exploiting a child for profit. Miley is still a minor and in California you have to be at least 18 before you can undress in front of a camera and pose for sexually provocative photographs.
Now what is going to happen? Young girls all over the country are going to see these photographs. They are going to say to themselves, “If Miley can do it, so can I!” So they are going to be stripping down and taking nude or semi-nude photographs of themselves and putting the on the Internet. They may even be tempted or encouraged by their peer to do what Miley did and expose themselves all over cyberspace. It could have drastic consequence for some because there are pedophiles out there who prey upon young, innocent girls.
Parents everywhere need to be aware to what is happening and teach their minor children NEVER to do something like this no matter what someone promises them. Miley’s father will get paid a small fortune from giving his permission for his daughter to be photographed in this manner; indeed, he has already made a fortune exploiting her talents. Once she turns 18 she will have financial control over her income, but until that time her parent can make as much money as he can and keep it for himself. Well, I’m not sure if that is 100% true, because I have no direct knowledge with respect to Miley Cyrus’s contract with Disney Productions or Vanity Fair, but I’d bet if he does not have complete power and control over all Miley’s money, that he has most of it.
Power and control is a big issue here. Parents have power and control financially over the income of their talented children. Hence there is motive to let them be abused in this way. No one can look at those pictures of Miley and say this was not permitted just to sell more magazines. That constitutes what is called “purulent interest” and hence defines said sexually provocative photographs as child pornography.
Anyone who wants to see these photographs can simply Google “Miley Cyrus and Vanity Fair” or Miley Cyrus and Nude.” Or you can go to the vanityfair.com web site. Unless they pull the pictures you should be able to find them. I was able to find them on You Tube and on sites as far away as Australia! So it is true to say that Miley Cyrus has been exploited and abused, her innocence exposed to the world and made a sex object for profit.
I really think this is terrible and my heart goes out to Miley Cyrus and all children who find themselves being abused and exploited. This is so terrible that I made a heart design that says “I Love Miley: Stop the exploitation of women and children. Miley herself spoke out and apologized to her fans saying that she did not realize she would be portrayed in such a sexually provocative manner. Disney Studios also responded with a statement suggesting she was manipulated. In any case it is not Miley who should be apologizing, but those who did this to her and permitted her to be exploited in this manner, which includes her father, the photographer, Annie Lebovitz and Vanity Fair.
I urge all parents to write to the State Attorney in California and express their outrage that those who have committed this exploitation of a minor be brought to justice; that this type of despicable behavior not be let to set as an example others may emulate and follow; that the innocence of our children be preserved. Either we should do that or lower the legal age to puberty. But everyone know that mental maturity is not reached until much later, so we should not lower our ethical, moral and legal standards just to please that segment of society which has purulent interest and seeks to exploit our children!

Note: There are many forms of child abuse which includes neglect. Parents and family members can love their children and still abuse and/or neglect them. Child abuse can be sexual, it can involve beating, bullying or battering or it can simply involve gross misconduct. Discipline of a child, such as using a naughty chair or taking away privileges, is not child abuse unless it involves such usage of physical force and violence as to inflict injury upon a child. Even siblings, especially much older brothers or sisters, can be abusive, especially when they do terrible acts of violence or cause serious injury to their siblings. Often siblings who develop habitual behavior such as bullying can develop into adults who abuse their spouse, children or even their elderly parents later in life. So it is important to report child abuse in all its forms and all its stages, no matter how embarrassing or ugly this may seem. What is worse is to not report the abuse and to let it continue as this can result in generational cycles of abuse. So please, report child abuse when you see it and help save a child.
Note: Child pornography hurts children because it destroys their innocence and exploits them for money, such that children become virtual slaves of those producing the child pornography. Often this involves exchange of sex for drugs, money or security. Child pornography is a billion dollar industry and also involves child slavery. The Internet has caused an explosion in the child pornography business. Any minor who is exploited by adults, even their parents or guardians, to produce material which is sexually provocative and appeals solely to purulent interest may be a victim of the child pornography industry. Please, if you have knowledge of child pornography production or dealing in child pornography, report it as a form of child abuse.
Note: What is a bully? Anyone who beats, batters or physically assaults a child is a bully and is committing child abuse. Bullies are also those who use verbal abuse to assault others who are not able to defend themselves for whatever reason. Bullies often grow into adults who abuse their spouse, children and elderly parents. It is important to report a bully because the earlier this problem is dealt with, then the earlier it can be corrected.
