Should it be a product or service you have created or designed, or even information you are marketing, then the more power to you! That is what I wish, for you success! So to succeed you need to learn how to build a good web, a good network, and how to advertise effectively.
This reference to spiders building webs may seem like a crude analogy, but it is the God awful truth! Advertising works by building webs or networks and fishing for customers to buy your product or service. Your wed site is the hook, line and sinker which will be used to fish for customers. There is great competition among millions of web sites fishing for customers. So how do you get customers to come to your site and take your bait?
Certainly you need to list your site upon search engines. Also you have to be sure that your site uses META codes. Six to eight letters make good domains. If you use a longer domain name, try to make it something easy to remember, like a phrase such as Support Our Troops.
Once you have chosen and purchased your own domain you need to actually create your own home page and open up a shop or emporium. There are many ways to do this.
