Lynch Made History Happen!

Like Moses, Lt. Col. Leonard P. Lynch and 4,000 National Guard troops parted the waters of hatred and opened the road from Selma to Montgomery to enable Martin Luther King, Jr. and thousands of marchers to reach Montgomery without bloodshed on March 21-25, 1965.

Lt. Col. Leonard P. Lynch is interred in the military cemetery at Fort McClellan, Alabama along with 393 people in 355 graves (as of April 6, 2000). The future of this cemetery, the memories of those interred, the preservation of the surrounding area and the honor they deserve may be in jeopardy. (See Cemetery proposal for fort concerns veterans by Russ Henderson and Fort authority plotting more space for cemetery by Richard Raeke both articles published in the Anniston Star. In fact the Joint Powers Authority wants to rename Fort McClellan by changing its name to just McClellan. I believe this would dishonor all who are buried upon this hallowed ground and who did service at Fort McCellan. I urge everyone who is concerned about this matter to write their representatives Sen. Richard Shelby and Sen. Jeff Sessions to maintain the name of Fort McClellan. In this regard the following proclamation is issued: Fort McClellan Military Cemtery Proclamation

This proclamation may be adopted by any private citizens, Veterans groups, retired military soldiers or families of soldiers interred at Fort McClellan Military Cemetery. It is to be used as a guide with respect to future endeavors.

One More Tombstone

By T. A. Lynch

Just one more tombstone in the meadow
One more cold white marble rock
If but the stones could talk
Oh the stories they would tell
Stories of Heaven, stories of Hell
Stories of love, stories of hate
Stories of birth, stories of death
But there is silence among the graves
Only the rustling of leaves in the wind
A cricket chirping, a bird cawing
These who rest here whisper not
For their tales we must look to the living
Precious memories kept close to heart
In love letters and lore of peace and war
It was not that long ago these soldiers walked
Nor that long before we'll see them again
In our dreams or at Heaven's gate
Just one more tombstone in the meadow
... a father's, a wife's, a child's ... ours.

Elderly care system in Alabam is broken

The elderly care system in Alabama is broken.

The wife and widow of Lt. Col. Leonard P. Lynch has been warehoused in a nursing home in Montgomery, Alabama, against her will and expressed directives. The Porbate Court of Montgomery County made Mrs. Lynch a ward of the state of Alabama. Her income and benefits is now under the control of corrupt, greedy lawyers who have acted to destroy her family and deprive her of her rights, freedom and liberty. It is an outrage that such injustice can occur in America. All concerned citizens are urged to petition and appeal to their state representatives to change the law that each citizen may specify and appoint their own guardian/conservator and that this extend to their dependents. Sites For Veterans

Support America! Display the Stars and Stripes.

This site has American flag art you may freely print to make decals and stickers for display of the American flag. Everyone is encouraged to support America by displaying the American flag to help fight international terrorists and those anti-American groups like the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and rebel flag fanatics who would divide and destroy our great nation. These groups are not patriotic to America, but aid terrorist by causing division and seeking to dissolve our great union! They often masquerade as religious or patriotic groups yet fly the Nazi swastika flag or Confederate battle flag. The best way to fight international terrorism and this unpatriotic behavior throughout our homeland is to display the American flag in retaliation!
