Introduction: Love is the primary inspirational force!

Welcome to my home page! This site was created to help motivate and inspire everyone to use their talents and creative ability to raise awareness for their favorite cause. As a professional graphic artist, designer, writer and webmaster I have used my talents and ability to try to make the world a better place by raising awareness and enlightening others. The reason I have been so driven is because my work is a work of love! Indeed, it may be said that I have been inspired by love, whether you call it the love of God or that of the muses, my work is the inspiration of love! Thus the primary key to creating great inspirational art and designs is to be inspired by LOVE!

People I have loved: God and the muses.

Of course it has been the people I have loved who have been my greatest inspiration. When I was but a child I asked my dear mother, La Faye S. Lynch, "What is God," and she replied as a wise woman might to a child simply that "God is love!" Indeed this great bit of wisdom has been my inspiration, for everything I do involves love and loving others, whether it is creative expressions or writings, the goal is to express love and make the world a better place. This is even true in art and designs which may focus upon aspects of life or conditions of the world and humanity which need to be improved upon, such as disease, illness, poverty, hunger, corruption, prejudice, violence, war or other forms of deparvation, hurt or harm to people, animals or the environment.

It is through my creative expressions of art and writing that I have endeavored to relate the truth and speak out, often in support of those who can not speak out so well for themselves, to champion causes, whether I have little or nothing much more that I can do to change the world but shout out to everyone to get off their butts and try to make a difference! I am, thus, often like Diogenes, searching for an honest man with the lantern that is my artistic expression, rolling a barrel of editorial letters up and down the street, keeping busy, making art, sending off pyrotechnic letters to the editor, trying to make people wake up, come out of their apathetic shells, to teach love and raise awareness even if a great portion of our nation's effort and economy seems to be disposed toward efforts of war. This is indeed, why I have produces so many LOVE and HEART designs and really started the craze of LOVE SHOPS that is now so profitable an enterprise on CafePress.

Support ERA (Elder Rights Association)

Design by Terry Lynch, Master Artist & Designer

In this regard I have created numerous artistic designs and expressions which are self published upon merchandise to raise awareness for causes which I champion. Unto the cynics who thinks or says that artist should not profit thus from their work, I counter that everyone from newspapers to the major networks profits upon every disaster, upon every tragedy, upon every situation, generally focusing upon whatever will sell the most newspapers or generate the most advertising revenue! The same is true when it comes to non-profit groups and organization. These groups, be they churches or other philanthropic organizations, all raise funds and generate income, often to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars with only a percentage going toward the purposes for which they are actually founded. Plus they often enjoy tax exempt status and may view any creative artist champion similar causes as competition.

Fight Alzheimers

As an individual artist even though I may champion causes that may qualify for a tax exempt status, I'm not myself a tax exempt organization ... though I'd certainly like to be and have established such organizations in the past! That does not mean I should not be profit from my work. Ministers profit from their work and I do happen to be an ordained minister and regard all my work as a form of ministry. Artists also profit from their work. Certainly I am an artist. Writers also profit from there work and I'm certainly a writer. Thus I do not appologize for making a profit from any wares I may market related to championing a cause. In fact, non-profit group are non-profit not because they do not pay for services, but because this qualifies them for tax exemption status. They still have to pay for everything from utility bills to office space and supplies, even though they may qualify for discounts which businesses may offer and benefit, again, from not having to pay taxes. Unfortumantely artist do not have this same benefit unless they establish a corporation. I have those same expenses as does any church or not-for-profit group, and should my artistic creations help pay the bills, so be it! Artists have a right to make money, too, even though they have been greatly exploited by others who would like them to work for nothing and walk around naked!

Beat Heart Disease

Thus one cause which I champion is that of the artist and writer, the creative man, woman or child who has too often been exploited for their talent and ability. Thus I founded Support the Arts, which is a grassroots effort to promote the Arts.

The problem of artist and creative people being exploited and not ever recognized for their valuable contribution to society is very great! This is a BIG problem! In public schools if a program is to be cut it is usually the Arts which goes first. God forbid the football team should lose any money or support! But it is okay to not have an Art Department or Music Department. Who needs the Arts? At least that is what seems to be the attitude in a majority of school systems throughout America which are having funding problems.

In addition to the Arts I champion many causes related to personal experiences I have had which have effected me and those who I have loved. Many of my philanthropic designs are inspired by personal experience and those I have loved. This includes my dog, Ruby, which died of lymphoma and was the inspiration for Project K9; my dear father, Lt. Col. Leonard P. Lynch who died of conjestive heart failure due to years of smoking; my dear brother, Stephen, who was a victim of substance abuse; my dear mother, La Faye S. Lynch, who is a victim of smoking and the diseases associated with usage of tobacco, now also made a virtual prisoner by the corrupt and broken elder care system in Alabama who was the inspiration for establishing the ERA (Elder Rights Association); my dear brother, Larry, who has mental retardation who has been treated with prejudice by much of society his entire life and is now being exploited by hostile realtives who kidnapped him so they could gain power and control over his life and exploit him for his government benefits; a woman I have known for over 30 years who recently developed cancer and is undergoing chemo therapy; a brother who suffers from alcohol abuse and another relative who has this same problem and may also have bi-polar disorder; and, many others I have known who have suffered or been victims of various diseases, illness or assoicated prejudices and/or exploitation. Also as a very loving and caring person, I have ben effected by the events of 9/11 and the War on Terrorism and know people who have been involved in that terrible conflict.

As a loving and caring person it is my goal to contribute my talents to helping raise awareness and educate and inform people. I do this using my art, designs and writing. If anyone should object to how I use my work, you may register a complaint with God, because He is my greatest muse, as God is, as my dear mother said so many years ago, "Love!"

I hope everyone who discovers any of my work may recognize that it is a valuable contribution to humanity and recognize the fact that it is creative and loving people like me who produce inspirational designs and art to help educate and inform people and promote love, partiotism and dood causes, which makes the world a better place. If this should not be the case, please note that there are 2.9 millon user/contributors (as of Oct. 2006) who exhibit and market their works via CafePress. Many of these creative artists and designers share my enthusiasm and also produce inspirational designs related to every imaginable cause. We are allworking to make the world a better place by adding beauty, expressing our love and encouraging others to live, love and win at LIFE! I hope this is a pursuit you share!

Lemonade is a good fund raiser

Dear Lemonade Lovers:

Life is short. For some it is shorter than for others. Every year millions of children around the world die from malneutrition, childhood diseases, AIDs, malaria and other maladies. Quite often the deaths are needless and could be prevented. A large part of the problem is that there just is not enough being done to help the children of the world.

In order to make the world a better place and help the children, I have established Lemonade for Life, a fund raising project in which anyone may participate. The idea is to organize and sponsor a fund raising event and use the money raised to help children and others in need, to improve the health and quality of life of those in need and less fortunate than ourselves.

Everyone has known or seen tragedy in their lives. In my own life I have known many who have suffered, both young and old. I met a young girl once named Tory who had rheumatoid arthritis. She was a very bright eyed, spirited child who dreamed of being a cheerleader. When I learned of her dream I got in contact with a group of highschool cheerleaders and they made her an honary member of their squad. Thus this little girl's dream was realized before she died at an all too early age.

I have always had a kind heart and endeavored to understand how to help others who were less fortunate than me. This spirit, I believe, is born out of the fact that when I was seven years old I asked my mother, "What is God?" She replied simply that "God is Love," a very wise answer to give such a young child, one which has guided my life ever since.

I was also greatly effected by my brother Larry who was born with mental retardation. I have always endeavored to be Larry's guardian angel, of sorts, watching over him when others would mistreat him as a child in school and devoting much of my adult life to helping my mother manage her affairs and provide a comfortable, quality life for Larry in her senior years.

My concern and desire to help others was also engendered by a very close and loving relationship with my other brother,Stephen, who motivated me to learn how to draw, develope and perfect my artistic talents. Stephen had a speech impairment which he over came to a great degree through focus upon his art, taking speech therapy and learning guitar, given he was one of those who did not stutter when he sang.

Some years ago my dear brother, Stephen, died in a pedestrian traffic accident. His loss inspired me to eatablish a foundation to support the arts. It was largely through this experience that I learned how to organize events and raise funds for worthy causes.

Unfortunately Stephen tended to gravitate toward others who were in the drug culture, and this may have been a factor in causing his early death while he was on a bad acid trip, one reason I made a decision long ago to fight all form of substance abuse. When your dearest brother suddenly dies and you find out he was using window pane acid at the time, it makes you see certain things quite clearly, that I am an advocate of living a healthy life style and not contaminating body nor mind with chemical substances which may adversely alter perception, cognition and good judgement.

Only recently was my life struck by tragedy when my dear mother, Faye, a very kind and loving person, had a stroke. I prayed that she not die and miracleously she regained consciousness. Then she was hospitalized, diagnoised with dementia, and is now in a nursing home. I have been her strongest advocate and working to expose the corruption and failures of the elderly care system in Alabama and the nation, a battle still raging, one which is destroying many lives and families nation wide.

While living in Montgomery, Alabama, I had the good fortune of meeting Mrs. Betty Fitzgerald, the town's Goodwill Ambassodor. She made me very aware of the fact that people can accomplish very much as advocates for good causes even with very little means, by working to create awareness and get others involved through simple actions like planting trees on Arbor day or touring homes for the elderly and those who suffer other physical or mental challenges.

I mention these people who have touched my life as each has played a role in not only teaching me how to love, but how to be a better human being by living my life in such a way as to help others. It is this gift which I am endeavoring to share with other, by providing a means to raise not only money, but more importantly awareness, with respect to disease, illness, drug abuse and all the darkness, disease and evils of life which cut life short for some and make it more difficult and painful for others.

I believe I am lucky to have lived long enough to make the world a better place is small ways. Each day I try to do something to make the world a better place. I hope that Lemonade for Life will be a way that my efforts may be multiplied by many others, so that together we can make a BIG difference in the world and improve the quality of life for children, adults and the elderly.

One of my talents is that of an artist and designer. It is through my designs that I have created a resource which may be used to raise funds to help others. In this regard I have created a series of I Love Lemonade designs. Items with these heart designs printed on a bright yellow lemon field may be purchased in bulk and help raise funds to fight everything from cancer and heart disease to child abuse and Alzheimer's disease.

I have also produced many other heart designs which can be used to support and enhance fund raising activities. What I am hoping to do is motivate others to get involved and raise money and awareness, that little by little we each may come together to do a lot to help those less fortunate than ourselves and thus make the world a better place for everyone.

Lemonade for Life is just one way to raise funds and awareness. The idea is to make lemonade and set up a lemonade stand, giving lemonade in exchange for a donation. This method has been used by many, many people to raise literally millions of dollars in the past. By providing a line of products to enhance these fund raising effort I hope to take them to a higher level.

Of course lemonade is only one way to raise money. You can really market anything. When I organized and sponsored an art festival, I rented a vendor's trailer from the coke company and sold coke to raise money. The coke company set up the trailer and provided the beverages and ice. Volunteers manned the vendor trailer and during the course of the art festival this enabled me to raise a good sum money. Anyone can do this. The reason for using lemonade is because it is easy and economical to make. But certainly other beverages may also be used.

Many organizations sponsor dinners as a way to raise large sums of money. Dinners are used to raise millions of dollars for political candidates every year. What I'd like to see is more dinners being used to raise money to support research and help children, those with terminal illness, in poverty or suffering because they live in poverty and depravation.

Another trend is using concerts to raise money and awareness. This is a great way to attract people as everyone loves music. But you don't have to be a rock star or celebrity to use this method. This idea may be done on all levels. Churches can sponsor presentations of their quior or concerts where talented members sing. Private groups or individuals may even organize local events inviting local or area talent to perform. In fact this is a great way to generate an audiance and then market lemonade or other food and beverages.

I would like to encourage everyone to adopt a worthy cause and work to raise funds and awareness for that good cause. I have endeavored to create product lines of items which may be purchased in bulk and used to enhance and stimulate many different types of fund raising activities. Using these high quality graphic design items will add not only class and a degree of professionalism to your fund raising activities, but it will expand the opportunity for everyone to offer a greater variety of items to use to promote their favorite cause.

If you can not find the exact design item you are seeking in my on-line gallery, please let me know what your needs are. Should I be able to help by providing a new, high quality graphic design, I will make a free design and post it on-line for any worthy cause. You may purchase such items in bulk and make tons of money marketing them at public events, on eBay, or even through your own Internet site.

Should Lemonade for Life not be your cup of tea, I have created other programs including Hotdogs for Life, K9 Paws, and Support the Arts. Each of these programs is based upon a series of designs which may be marketed to raise awareness and money for your favorite cause. If you use these designs please make a donation to the Angel of Life Foundation or your favorite charity. Just click on the button below to make fast, secure donations of any amount.

Thank you for your consideration and God bless you!

Best regards,

Terry Lynch

Live! Love! Win! Beat Cancer
Quality graphic design products to enhance your fund raising efforts!

Just about everyone knows someone with cancer or heart disease. In fact, heart disease killed my father and may have been a factor in the death of my grandfather, Lafayette Sumner, a Methodist minister who drowned at Daytona Beach in 1949, probably as a result of a stroke while he was swiming. Heart disease may even eventually kill me, given it seems to run in my family.

Recently I learned of a woman who loves ballroom dancing. It is the joy of her life. But she has been stricken with a terrible form of cancer, is on chemo therapy followed by radiation therapy. As a result she has lost her hair. Many who have been down this road before know the prejudice that society in general often cast toward those with cancer, looking at them strangely if they have lost their hair or had to have breasts removed. It is a type of prejudice and cruelty been used to isolate, shun and segregate people who have illness and disease since the first people with leprocy were cast out of society in Biblical times. This type of behavior hurts those who are already fighting for their lives against terrible diseases.

I was influenced by learning of this woman's illness to create a design series entitled "Live! Love! Win! Beat Cancer/Heart Disease!" The design series features three hearts with the words "Live! Love! and Win!" inside the hearts and the words "Beat Cancer" or "Beat Heart Disease." This is a very attractive series of designs and expressed the idea that we must LIVE, LOVE and WIN in regards to fighting such terrible diseases like cancer and heart disease. Of course this also extends to all other diseases.

I am hoping others who have more money than me, doctors, lawyers, business men and women, the rich and the famous, will embrace my designs, buy them in bulk and use them to promote awareness. However, even if you are a victim of heart disease or know a family member who is, you may still buy these designs and use them to promote awareness.

Quality graphic design products to enhance your fund raising efforts!

There is too much apathy in this country. Those who are young, healthy or wealthy tend to close their eyes and look the other way when someone is sick or ill. Whe a woman loses her hair while under going cancer treatment, or has her breasts removed, the result is often prejudice. It is terrible people respond in this way, instead of with love!

I am hoping everyone will embrace the three heart "Live, Love, Win Beat Cancer/Heart Disease Designs!" These positive focus designs are a way you can let others know that you are not prejudice toward someone who has cancer or heart disease and that you love them!

Through a strong belief in life, love and a will to win we may all come together and be victorious in the fight against cancer, heart disease and other terrible diseases! Thank you for your support and helping to make others aware of the fact that everyone can make a difference and the world a better place!
