Pennies for Paws is a fund raising project produced by GSDAR, Inc., a nonprofit animal rescue organization. Pennies for Paws is designed so that everyone, everywhere may easily help raise money to support our rescue, spay, neuter, adopt program. There are millions of dogs and cats in the USA and around the world that are destroyed in shelters each years. Millions of more live homeless suffering with disease, malnutrition, neglect and abuse. The rescue, spay, neuter, adopt program aims at reducing the number of homeless dogs and cats so as to help solve astronomic problem over time.
You can help by printing out the Pennies for Paw flyer. Then tape it to a jar or other container and use this to collect donations. Ask local businesses in your town if you can set a Pennies for Paw jar near their cash register. Then people can place their spare change in the jar when the check out. Collect the money, count it and send a check to GSDAR, Inc. or you can make a deposit via our secure PayPal account. In this way everyone, everywhere may help raise funds.
To begin contact GSDAR and let us know that you want to be a Pennies for Paw Volunteer. Then just print out the flyer below and tape or glue it to a quart or gallon jar. Make a hole in the lid with a knife or drill large enough to accept pennies, dimes, nickles and quarters. Some people may even put dollar in the Pennies for Paws jar. Find local businesses in your community that will permit you to place a Pennies for Paws jar on the check out counter next to their cash register. Then check often to count the money and make a payment to GSDAR, Inc. for the amount collected.
Pennies for Paws jars may be left at any type of business. Most appropriate would be pet stores, veterinarian offices, or any stores which sell dog and cat food or other pet products. You can also leave Pennies for Paws collection jars at resturants, drug stores, hardware stores, fast food shops, pizza shops, coffee shops, book stores, grocery stores or any shop where there is a lot of traffic. As a Pennies for Paws Volunteer you may also place collection jars at any fund raising events where there are a lot of people.
After you collect money, count it and make a payment via secure PayPal to GSDAR, Inc. You may use the PayPal donation button below.
