Good Shepherd Dog Animal Rescue (GSDAR) has been established. Members, sponsors and volunteers are needed to help build a successful pet adoption agency and organization.

GSDAR is organized as a nonprofit corporation and has established high goals and purposes including: operation of a foster care and/or rescue program to save the lives of homeless dogs, cats and other animals; preventing the over-population of animals through spay/neuter programs; and helping to educate and inform the general public so as to avoid cruelty to animals and provide for the humane treatment of animals. We are a group of people who love animals and who want to help save the lives of homeless animals, to find responsible individuals to take in and care for homeless animals, and generally work for the humane treatment, adoption, rescue and care of dogs, cats and other animals.

There are a number of ways you can participate as an on-line member of GSDAR and advocate for homeless animals:

• Buy a "Save A Life - Rescue, Spay, Neuter, Adopt" T-shirt or other gift/apparel item. For every item purchased a $25.00 annual membership contribution will be made to GSDAR.

• Participate in Petathon and Buy A Paw. When you Buy A Paw you will automatically become a contributing member of GSDAR and a donation of $10.00 to $100.00 will be made, based upon the gem color of paw gifts and apparel that you purchase.

• Follow GSDAR on Twitter. By following GSDAR on Twitter you will be kept abreast of news and developments, plus be able to network with many fellow dog and cat lovers and other animal rescue and advocacy organizations.

• Join Angel, The God Sent Dog on Facebook. Angel is our mascot and is working in cyberspace to raise awareness and funds to help GSDAR achieve its high goals. You are also invited to read Angel's blog and visit Angle's homepage. If you are a Facebook friend of Angel, then you are a friend of GSDAR!

• Buy merchandise from our Petporium. Terry Lynch, the Founder of GSDAR, is also is a graphic artist and designer who has developed a novel approach to raising funds. Lynch has created unique and original paw and other pet related designs reproduced upon gifts and apparel by Purchase-0n-Demand (POD) service providers. Everytime you purchase an item, a small commission is earned and donated to GSDAR. This enables GSDAR to do such things as provide and maintain this website and work to raise awareness about such vital issues as homeless animals. Your generous support and patronage is much appreciated!

• Send a photograph of you dog or cat to Terry that we may make it available upon gifts and apparel and use earned commissions to support GSDAR. We need high resolution digital image photographs that you have taken of your dog and cat. Orignial all breed dog photographs are especially needes. When you submit an original photograph of your dog or cat you give GSDAR, its agents and representatives, permission to reporduce, edit, dititally enhance, or otherwise use the photograph to advertise, promote, and/or market it upon gifts and apparel, prepetually, and to keep all profits and commissions generated, is granted to GSDAR, and you forever release GSDAR, its agent or representatives from any and all hurt, harm, damages or liability whatsoever, real or imagines. Donating a pet photograph is an easy way everyone who owns a dog or cat can help GSDAR. We hope to get photographs of all breeds of dogs and cats, or other pets, over time and build a great on-line emporium and gallery. These can be anyone who is in sympathy with the purposes of GSDAR and who wants to help contribute to the start-up costs of GSDAR so that we can get up and going, obtain our 501(c)(3) tax exempt status, and do all those other things a new organization needs to get done. We hope to raise $25,000.00 through this initial Founding Membership drive. As a Founding Member you will be listed as a A Founding Member of GSDAR.
