Welcome to Free Love: Adopt A Dog. This is a non-for-profit, private enterprise which advocates the adoption of dogs by loving, caring and responsible people. Free Love provides information, educational resources and referral with respect to canine adoption. Our goal is to help find homes for dogs. Currently Free Love does not have a rescue center but to establish such a center is a goal. Anyone who wants to donate money, land, vehicles or other property, goods and services is urged to do so and help Free Love grow. Please contact the founder, Terry, to make a donation. Thank you!

The founder of Free Love: Adopt A Dog established Free Love AAD as a part of Project K9. Free Love AAD came about because there is a growing need to help find responsible home owners for the many abandoned and neglected dogs around the nation. This is especially true in many states and/or cities which have no active humane societies or lack funding for rescue type services. Through operation of Project K9, Terry became acutely aware of the need for a service to help direct people to canine rescue organizations and humane societies. Also there was great need for such a service in the rural area where Terry lives. So to help meet these needs Free Love AAD was established.
Free Love uses a heart with a paw inside it as a logo, which symbolizes the bond of love between humans and dogs. Because millions of dogs are slaughtered every year, extreme measures are needed to help find responsible owners and stop the killing of so many dogs. The idea is that by using a heart and a paw incorporated in to advertising which used subliminal seduction, it will be possible to get people's attention and help raise awareness. Thus it is hoped to literally shock people and make people become aware of the tremendous and dire need to find homes for dogs.
The idea it to use a shock and awe campaign to wake people up to what is happening with respect to the pain and suffering dogs are experiencing, not only in America, but around the world. Other organizations like, PETA, have used this technique quite effectively to draw attention to the abuse and exploitation of animals. Free Love hope to use similar graphic advertising and subliminal seduction techniques to enlighten the public and motivate concerned citizens to give a helping hand in finding homes for dogs.
It would be nice if you could get people to pay attention just by asking them to listen. But people often have their own selfish concerns, which are quite important to them, so they just do not realize how much dogs need their help. This is true of many loving and caring people. Or those who do realize the need to help homeless dogs, don't know what they can do. So it is hoped that everyone who becomes aware of Free Love AAD, will decide to help in whatever way they can.
The following actions will help greatly:
You can also help by going to your local humane society or canine rescue center and adopting a dog. Your new found companion will return the love many times over. Hence our name, FREE LOVE Adopt A Dog.
