Why waste tens of billions of dollars going to war with Iraq when a single bullet or bomb will solve the problem? Why risk the lives of American soldiers and our allies when one well placed round or an intelligent bunker buster could take out Saddam Hussein?
Although Saddam Hussein has not been arrested and tried in a court, he has been tried and found guilty by all peace loving people who have witnessed his cruelty and murder of thousands upon thousands of men, women and children. To allow the existence of such a mass murderer, to permit him to be in control of a nation and in possession of weapons of mass destruction is paramount to suicide for democratic nations.
Saddam Hussein must be taken out by whatever means possible! Should he provide terrorists with chemical or biological weapons it could be catastrophic! Should he get his murderous hands on nuclear weapons, buying them from North Korea, what then? That prospect is perhaps the one which most justifies putting American troops in Baghdad and turning that terrorist sponsoring state into a democracy.
There comes a time when free nations and free people must use force to execute the despots of this world, and if ever there was such a time, it is now! I suggest we dispose of Saddam Hussein quickly and then turn our attention from Baghdad toward Kim Jong II in Pyongyang.
Sincerely,
Terry Lynch
