I agree in spirit with the old adage one letter writer was referring to with respect to the good and reverent Chief Justice Roy Moore that, "If you are going to talk the talk, you have got to walk the walk." That is, if you are going to profess a religious belief and commitment on Sunday, then you must follow in that walk of life on Monday and every other day of the week. This is exactly what the reverent Chief Justice Roy Moore is doing in writing scripture into Alabama law and it violates the fundamental principles of both our state and national government systems.

Of course the good and reverent judge writes scripture into everything. I learned recently from a reliable source that judge Moore is so fanatically devout that he has written scripture into the very frame work, joints and studs, of his own Prattville home. The good judge has scribbled Bible verses up and down the insides of the walls of his house just as he has written them into Alabama law!

Apparently the good judge can not separate law and religion and every legal opinion he is likely to author will be strongly influenced by Holy Bible scripture. No doubt he would scribe the inside walls of Alabama's Supreme Court building with scriptures should he have access to those spaces only seen by cockroaches and spiders.

Quite frankly I think the good and reverent judge is quite mad if this fact of writing scripture on the inside of walls is true. How do we, the public, know he has not done the same thing late at night to the halls and walls of justice? Someone needs to tear open those walls and see what the good judge has been up to in the dead of night.

Bible scripture is meant to be written upon our minds, our hearts and our lives, not hidden in the recesses of walls where only infestations of cockroaches can see it! What kind of fanatical lunatic would so disgrace scripture by feeding it to cockroaches?
