Robert Powell and those who call abortion terrorism are wrong. Abortion is not terrorism. You may call this murder or infanticide, but not terrorism. Calling it terrorism, especially from the pulpit, insights acts or real terrorism which then terrorises the public at large.

Certainly smoking cigarettes can cause cancer, pulmonary disease and congestive heart failure. But that some people choose to smoke themselves to death, committing slow suicide, does not make terrorist out of the tobacco companies. They are greedy Sob's and murders, maybe, but not terrorists.

The same might be said of doctors and family planning clinics which provide abortion. As with smoking, an addictive behavior which may result in ill health, disease and ultimatemate death, abortion is a choice that can be a traumatic experience and certainly means the death of a fetus. But women who choose abortion and their doctors are not terrorist any more than are those who choose to smoke or drink themselves to death. They might be selfish Sob's, even murders, but they aren't terrorists.

When you get right down to it we are all choosing our own deaths. Every time you get in a car and drive, you are risking your life. But the fact there are crazy and drunk drivers out there speeding down highways which are often poorly maintained does not make terrorists out of either the inebriated drivers or the Highway department. Nor is the truck driver who falls asleep at the wheel, swerves into the wrong lane, strikes an on coming vehicle killing its occupants, a terrorist. This is an accident due to sleep deprivation, not terrorism. All perhaps are forms of murder, but all are not acts of terrorism.

Every social ill or injustice is not terrorism. AIDs is not terrorism. Alcoholism is not terrorism. Abortion is not terrorism. But if you go out and bomb a gay bar, a family planning clinic or an ABC store, that is terrorism! If you advocate or inspire these acts from the pulpit, that is support of terrorism!

I would agree there are a lot of fools, murders, negligent lost souls and Sob's in the world, but they are not all terrorists! Some would even consider me to be one; but, that's just as much a misnomer as is calling abortion terrorism! I'm just an open minded flaming pen scribbler, not a terrorist!
