Subject: Take no more Taliban or al Qaeda prisoners

John Walker Lindh was a traitor! He took up arms against America and participated in the prison uprising in Mazar-e Sharif which resulted in the death of CIA officer, Mike Spann. This factor alone should have gotten him the death penalty.

We are being too gentle on terrorists. Recent reports out of Afghanistan reveal that radical Taliban and al-Qaeda members have been released from prison only to go right back out to take up arms against American soldiers. This quick release without punishment of terrorists is going to end up in more suicide bombers killing Americans. This is particularly indicated by the recent CNN revelation that terrorist have circulated video training tapes around the world.

If the new Afghan government will not keep terrorists incarcerated, perhaps firing squads should be introduced. After all, these are murdering thugs with Kalashnikov submachine guns, surface-to-air missiles and high explosives training that have been totally brainwashed and indoctrinated to destroy everything foreign, everything American. They have even experimented using lethal gases to kill dogs!

The very idea that these terrorists can ever be rehabilitated is pathetic. But releasing them now to pick up arms tomorrow is absolute insanity!

Perhaps our Commander in Chief should issue new orders: take no prisoners in the war against terrorists! Bush is being a wimp not to make such an order because these fanatic terrorists certainly are not going to take any American prisoners; rather, their goal is to blow to smithereens anything red, white and blue that so much as flutters in the wind!

When you have airplane flying into skyscrapers it is no time to be merciful. Unless we totally destroy and annihilate these Taliban and al Qaeda terrorists, next thing you know a dirty nuke will be going off in New York City or Washington D.C. killing millions of people and making the World Trade Center tragedy of 9/11 look like child's play.
