War is never right! War is always wrong! This is true not because there are motive just, but because there are motives unjust which bring humanity to that dilemma, to live or to die, to be enslaved or to be free, to be ruled by despots or to rule themselves.
We now are engaged in a great war on terrorism. Our cause is just for we were attacked on 9/11 in the most horrible single act of terrorism in human history! Yet is this war right or is this war wrong?
Certainly it is necessary to remove Saddam Hussein from power. It is equally necessary to deal with the communist regime of North Korea, an even more deadly threat than that posed by Iraq. Yet should we risk a wider war by smart bombing nuclear reactors in North Korea, or rely on diplomacy to solve this growing threat?
There are those who call for a war on two fronts, one in the Middle East and one in the Far East. I have uttered those cries myself. But when I listen with my own ears, I realize that war, all war is wrong, not because the cause is unjust, but because there exist injustice in the world so grave that the only recourse our leaders can see is war.
Certainly war is an option, but is it the only option? Or are we being led into war by the acts of terrorists who want war because that is their ultimate goal, to bring hostility to the Middle East and hostility to the Far East?
Despots and terrorists have one thing in common, they love war. It is the democracies and republics of the world which hate war. What we must contemplate as a peace loving nation is the alternatives to war which means we need the most enlightened leaders of the free world to gather and examine all options.
There come times when war is a last resort. But before we rush into a two front war, lets be sure we have exhausted all our options. Then should the only recourse be war, the option always remains to bomb the hell out of both Iraq and North Korea.
But it won't be right ... war is never right; war is always wrong. Unfortunately war is sometimes the only way man can see to be free in an increasingly hostile world where terrorists and despots have such big bombs to play with. Could it be all nations have not done enough to teach the children of the world how to love?
Let's then consider dropping hearts
upon our enemies, hearts
which say "I Love You" to all nations, hearts
which say "I love you" in all languages and tongues, to bring and engourage love among all men and women of all nations, that hearts
of love will become an international symbol cherished by all people. Let's turn from dropping bombs to a World Peace and Harmony Among Men Project. It may just be that Jesus Christ and John Lennon were right, love is the answer, and it is possible to not only imagine a world without war, but to create such a world free of war.
Toward this end I have established the World Peace Project which has as its goal bringing hearts
of love to the people of the world, hearts
of love to the children of the world that one day there will be no war! It may not come in time to avert today's war mongers, but perhaps it will prevent tomorrow's war.
All those who wish peace in the world are asked to join and support the World Peace Project. Only through teaching our children to love can we save the world from terrorism and war, for when all people love each other, there will be no hatred, no prejudice and no cause for war!
