Recently inquiry was made regarding my position with regard to the killing of tens of thousands of dogs in Red China. Let me make it perfectly clear to everyone that I don't believe the "official" statements coming out of Red China for one minute. This is a corrupt regime which is killing dogs for profit and is using the rabies scare to justify their actions when the entire scientific and medical community has long known that killing dogs is not effective in the control of rabies. However, this is an effective way to terrorize pet owners, to gain power and control over people and to make huge profits through the commerce from marketing fur, skins, meat and bone and other canine by-products.
I therefore advocate overthrow of the communist government in China! Working with corrupt officials who kill thousands of dogs and have just as little regard for human life is unconscionable!
There is nothing to be gained by working with people who kill thousands of dogs under the pretense that this is done to control rabies when the WHO and leading epidemiologist have long known that the only way to effectively control rabies is through a vaccination program. See the press release "Stop Canine Genocide" at http://www.byteland.org/boycottchina/stop_canine_genocide.html.
When a media black out is declared in regard to killing thousands of dogs this is done because those involved do not want the free world to see what they are doing as to stop them would hurt their pocket books. A boycott and further trade sanctions is exactly what is needed as if it is not profitable to kill dogs then maybe those doing this will get the message and stop.
Animal rescue and service groups concerned about animal welfare issues in China must realize that they are dealing with a corrupt regime which controls the media and is expert in production of propaganda. Do not believe anything these people say! Without a free press and open access it is impossible to know what is going on in China and it would be a waste of money to give these corrupt officials any money to use for rabies control or even to vaccinate people bitten by dogs. Only if outside agencies are given full access and authority to deliever and administer aid themselves and this is matched by government funds sould such efforts be considered.
To give corrupt Chinese government officials who advocate and conduct mass killings of dogs money is like paying murderers for killing after they have already done their killing and made millions off the marketing of canine by-products. Animal rights groups should invest their money in America and encourage the Chinese government to stop killing dogs by the tens of thousands, by advocating and promoting a boycott and trade sanctions. Also those who are responsible for the mass killing of dogs in China should be held accountable and brought to justice; the world community should demand they be removed from power even if this means the overthrow of the the entire communist regime.
There are animal rescue organizations which suggest working with the communists regime such as Animals Asia based in Honk Kong which is now part of Red China and supserviant to their rule. Therefore they really have no choice but to be non-critical of those in power and control in Red China. Fortunately I'm in the United States and don't have to kiss their ass and can speak the truth in regard to the corruption in Red China, and state emphatically that humans and animals, alike, would be better off without communists in power in Red China. Before I would change my position their would have to be a free and open press in China and a democratic government such that the people would not be oppressed by corrupt government officials operating behind closed doors with no accountability to those they represent.

Under the circumstances with thousands upon thousands of dogs being killed the profits from which enrich the coffers of those doing the killing, it would not be wise to work with them. The best policy is to work AGAINST them and to do everything possible to empower the people of China and free them from the tyranny and oppression which controls their lives.
I prefer to take the high road in this regard and work with God, not dog killers and dog exterminators. As I have stated, the killing of tens of thousands of dogs in China is canine genocide motivated by greed and done for profit and I will NEVER work with those corrupt officials who are responsible for this crime against God, (dog spelled backwards) nature and humanity!
I have established the Boycott Made in China web site to provide tools and resources to empower everyone who loves dogs and wants to help end the killing of dogs in China. If anyone really wants to help they should support this project. Give me the means and I'll put the communists on notice and out of business!
