Dear Associates:
I am working to recruit associates for the Byteland Art Guild, a cooperative not-for-profit business dedicated to the support of the Arts and promotion of creative people which will feature and market the original and unique works of artists and craftsmen and women. My goal is to help all associated with this endeavor to profit through their contributions, each according to their means.
Success depends upon your contribution of art, craft, material, time, effort and whatever else you may be able to share as an associate and volunteer. My goal is to establish an on line gallery and emporium to help everyone market their creative expressions. I need to know how you may be able to help and in what manner you would like to contribute to the Byteland Art Guild.
I have begun by establishing an on-line presence so that everyone may immediately begin to profit from their association. Please bookmark the Byteland Art Guild at http://www.byteland.org/artguild/index.html (this page) for future reference.. You may also contact via email at Byteland Art Guild.
Please see membership application to join and/or exhibit your work on-line! Each exhibiting artist will receive the equivalent of one web page which will feature the artist, three original works of art, sculpture, ceramics, crafts or other fine art and design. Plus each artist should provide a personal photograph showing them with their work and any other brochures, resumes, articles about their work or other literature which may be reprinted or published to help promote the artist.
Please write and let me know what form of contribution you may be able to make. In addition to monetary contributions from business associates and benefactors, members will be needed to contribute work for display and exhibit, including work which may be marketed on-line. As this is a cooperative effort, those who wish to establish an association will be expected help as their means may permit. Basically I need to know what level of commitment you are able to make, to contribute toward the success of the Byteland Art Guild.
With regard to exhibiting artists, I will need at photographs of least three works of art from each member to display in an on-line gallery; these may be submitted via email or sending a photograph to scan. I would also like a photograph of each contributor with their art, craft or sculpture. I am asking each exhibiting artist to contribute $75.00 as an initial membership and exhibit fee (or $25.00/entry); this may be wavered or reduced for students are artists who have a hardship or disability.
Please reply by sending your entries and membership/exhibit fee. Also please relate how you may most be able to help in the future. Thank you for your consideration.
Best regards,
Terry Lynch
