Byteland provides a variety of free banners and buttons that you may incorporate onto your site and earn commissions. You may also use any of our associated banners provided at sites:
Effective: June 1, 2007. All affiliate links should be directed to www.cafepress.com/bytelandart or www.cafepress.com/toppics via Commission Junction. CafePress is now using Commission Junction (CJ) as its affiliate. This means that everyone who wants to earn commissions needs to join Commission Junction at www.cj.com/ and then you can place links on your site in order to earn commissions as an affiliate.
Just go to www.cj.com/ and sign up. Complete whatever documentation they ask (they will require you file a W-9 form for tax purposes) so that everything is legal with the IRS. Then you can just sit back and let the money flow into your CJ account.
Once you register with Commission Junction you will get a PID number. This is a number that identifies you as the member who refers traffic so that you get credit for the referral. It will be important to put this PID number in any links so that you get credit and earn the commission.
Commission Junction links have this basic format:
http://www.randomdomain.xxx/click-PID-codenumber?url=http://www.cafepress.com/shopname
Basically the only numbers in this string you need to change are the PID which you replace with your unique PID.

In the Byteland Art Gallery there are over 10,000 unique designer products in many categories upon hundreds of thousands of gifts and apparel. Each of these products and product sets is represented by an image which can be used as a banner/button to drive traffic to your site. All you have to do is download the product image, upload it to your site and use it as a link with the associated affiliate PID number so you get credit.
